Conversion Logic

The Platform Needs a Clear End Point

A buyer journey page helps keep the site from feeling like disconnected content. It makes every major page point toward a real next action.

Page Brief

This is the standard buyer route for vehicle export orders. The route differs between new vehicles and used vehicles, and the order should not move forward until the matching control points are completed.

This is the standard buyer route for vehicle export orders. The route differs between new vehicles and used vehicles, and the order should not move forward until the matching control points are completed.

New Vehicle Standard Route

  1. Buyer submits target market, model range, quantity, destination port, and certification or compliance requirements.
  2. AutoGlobalSource confirms commercial availability, quotation basis, configuration scope, and order route.
  3. After PI or order terms are confirmed, the standard new vehicle order deposit is 30 percent to lock allocation and begin execution.
  4. After the deposit is received, the team confirms model, configuration, and VIN or shipment-facing vehicle information as available, then moves into export preparation.
  5. Export documents are prepared according to the order, including commercial invoice, packing list, and additional origin or conformity documents when required and available.
  6. The buyer may appoint its own shipping agent or use an approved shipping partner. Freight and export declaration charges are handled separately from vehicle price unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  7. The remaining balance must be completed before shipment release or document release under the agreed payment terms.

Used Vehicle Standard Route

  1. Buyer submits brand, model, year, mileage, color, configuration, target budget, and any unacceptable condition limits such as accident, water, or fire history.
  2. Before sourcing starts, the first screening deposit is the greater of 10 percent of estimated FOB value or USD 1,000 unless a written exception is approved.
  3. After the first deposit is received, AutoGlobalSource searches for matching vehicles and provides remote materials covering exterior, interior, engine bay, roof, trunk, chassis, VIN, odometer, and known condition notes.
  4. Once the buyer approves a candidate vehicle, the vehicle is locked for roughly 7 to 10 days. After lock authorization, the first deposit is treated as non-refundable for that locked vehicle cycle.
  5. A third party inspection is arranged unless the buyer waives it in writing. If the inspection report shows major discrepancies against the prior description, the buyer may reject the vehicle and request replacement or refund under the agreed terms.
  6. If the inspection result is accepted, the standard purchase deposit for the used vehicle is 30 percent of the total purchase amount, payable within 5 working days to complete lock-in and purchasing.
  7. After purchase, the vehicle moves to warehousing, pre-shipment inspection, and optional refurbishment or modification if requested and quoted separately.
  8. Before shipment, the buyer receives the core document package and completes the remaining balance so shipment can be arranged.

Control Notes

  • New vehicle and used vehicle deposits are not interchangeable. Each deposit belongs to a defined action stage.
  • Used vehicle search, lock-in, and inspection must stay in sequence. Skipping inspection changes the risk position and must be recorded in writing.
  • No order should move into shipment until payment status, document scope, and destination route are confirmed.
